Since traditional retail banking tends to greet clients with unwelcoming architectural barriers, we completely re-thought the design approach. With keeping security concerns in mind, we were able to convince the bank that customer experience was more important than bullet-proof glass.

This incredible double height space was challenging to plan with aggressive security requirements. To separate the public space from the private, we created this glowing double-height curtain wall that creates a soft and inviting touch to retail banking.

Below, we provided seating nooks for branch employees and clients to discuss sensitive information while maintaining just enough privacy and openness to the rest of the space.

We chose to celebrate the ATM vestibule by creating a grand architectural moment to divide the spaces.
